How it smells
This is the classic Middle Eastern accord — saffron over rose over oud — presented cleanly and without apology. The saffron opening is leathery and slightly medicinal, which is exactly what it should be.
Rose softens the middle. The oud is smoky rather than barnyard, closer to a good Cambodian profile than to the sharper Indian material, and amber and musk round it off.
If you have never worn oud, start with one spray on the wrist and live with it for an hour. It is an acquired taste and it is worth acquiring.
