03/How we write listings

Notes are the
easy part.

A note list tells you what is in a bottle. It does not tell you whether it survives an afternoon in Lagos, or whether people two seats away will know you are wearing it.

So every listing carries the same four measurements, written from wearing the fragrance rather than from a press release. When something does not perform, we say so on the page.
