How it smells
Santal 33 is more mineral than most sandalwood fragrances. The wood here is dry and slightly smoky — closer to cedar pencil shavings than to creamy Mysore sandalwood — with a violet accord on top that reads almost metallic for the first few minutes.
Cardamom and iris fill the middle. Leather and papyrus underneath give it a faint suede quality. It is unusually flat in its development, which sounds like a criticism but is not: it smells the same at hour six as at hour one, and that consistency is why people wear it daily.
Genuinely unisex, and one of the few fragrances where that word is accurate rather than marketing. It also lingers on fabric for days.

Sealed and unused, yes — within 48 hours of delivery. Once a bottle has been sprayed we cannot resell it, so opened fragrance is not returnable unless it is faulty or not what you ordered. This is why we sell the discovery set. Read the refund policy in full.
