How it smells
The EDP is the softer, rounder member of the Sauvage family. Where the EDT opens sharp and mineral, this one leads with a bergamot that has been sweetened slightly, then walks it into Sichuan pepper and a lavender that reads more herbal than floral.
The heart is short. Within twenty minutes you are into the ambroxan, and that is where it stays — a dry, faintly salty warmth with vanilla sitting just underneath. It is not a complicated fragrance and it does not pretend to be. What it does, it does at volume.
Worth knowing: this is one of the most recognised scents in Nigeria right now. If you want something nobody else in the room is wearing, look at the Arabian shelf. If you want something that reliably works, this is it.
