How it smells
A chypre in modern dress. Orange and bergamot open it cleanly, rose and jasmine hold the middle, and patchouli with vetiver gives it the dry, slightly bitter floor that classical perfumery is built on.
It is not sweet and it is not fresh. It occupies the ground between the two, which is exactly why it has outlasted almost everything released alongside it in 2001.
If you have only ever worn gourmands, this will smell serious at first. Give it an hour on skin before deciding.

Sealed and unused, yes — within 48 hours of delivery. Once a bottle has been sprayed we cannot resell it, so opened fragrance is not returnable unless it is faulty or not what you ordered. This is why we sell the discovery set. Read the refund policy in full.
